On the move preparing for the adventure of the day
Out the door just after 6
In the office drafting last minute e-mail
Taking care of business and delegating
Printing tickets
Taking calls
Watching the weather
Grabbing snacks,
Zipping the little liquids bag
Closing the house
Breathing, smiling
In just a few hours
Mere hours
I will venture to the southeast coast
Visiting extended family
Exploring new beaches
Discovering Florida a little more
Embracing life a lot more
Stretching, growing and enriching…

I love that excitement of those few hours before a fun trip. I feel so alive alert and confident that nothign will get past me. Inevitably, something does. One time, we forgot to bring a stroller when my son was 1. Really necessary at that age because they're too big for a bjorn but too small to walk the whole way. But it all worked out.
