I woke up yesterday morning with the sudden realization that I am going to be 37 in about half a year! Can I tell you, that is not a fun realization. I have not had a difficult time with my age in years but, the idea of turning 40 might prove to be an issue.
I am sure that 40, in itself, is not that big of a deal. Most of the world will or has turned 40. However, I am sure that most of the world didn't do most of its "living" before the age of 30! It feels like it is all down here from this point forward. Okay, exaggerating a bit but honestly, there are things that I wanted or want to do before I turn 40; there is a lot of life to be lived in the next few years. For example, I would like to have earth moving, mind blowing sex... at least ten times in the next 2.5 years!
