Entering the 21st Century

Earlier this week I bit the bullet; I joined the 21st Century!

Realizing that the summer is going to be a bit different than those of the past (I will be at home more than before), I thought that it might be fun to try something new. I signed up to Twitter! Of course, I am not really sure what Twitter is or how it operates, but it seems like it could be fun.

Granted, I have been curious about this for a while thanks to
Just Run, but I didn't have the time to put much effort into working with the program. Now, with hot and humid days approaching and the Diva home when there is no camp, I will have the time and the desire to figure it out.

And, time is exactly what I need because I have absolutely no idea what I am doing!

I looked to see if there was a little step-by-step outline as to what to do. How do I send in an update via my phone? Can I e-mail an update? I didn't want to "read" to find the answers. Despite my love of research and analyzing to find answers, there are times when I am a product of the google generation. I want to ask a question and find the exact answer instantaneously! (especially when a child is playing the piano and singing in the background or hanging on the back of the computer chair) I didn't find my quick fix and didn't have much time so, I hope to put more work into it today.

If you see me wandering around out there, don't hesitate to stop and say hi. It would be great to see a familiar face in a world that is, as of yet, very foreign!

(And if you have any tips, suggestions, or advice... lay it on me. I am all ears!)

I'm on twitter. I don't spend much time there. For me, it just proves to be another thing to do.

But lots of people like it! :)

I don't like to read either, so I just jumped in with both feet and then signed up for phone notification and accidentally started sending private messages to the public board. (Well they weren't VERY private, just wouldn't make sense to anyone else.)

You should add me as a friend, though! I think it's either under my email address or as Cathouse Teri.

I've really no clue how to do that. Ha ha!

Jeez. I'm a lot of help.

Glad to see you there! :)

I like that my random thoughts now have yet another place to go. And, mostly, I'm not ashamed that I have so many.

CT - I will see if I can find you!! (Thanks for your... help! ;) )

JR - I find myself just kind of... writing without any idea if I am doing the right thing. Very different!!

I was going to suggest you make it so it feeds to your blog... but I see you have already done that :)
