While playing around on Facebook a few nights ago, I found the sister of my best friend in 8, 9, and 10 grades. before she moved.
What fun!!
I scrolled through her sister's friends and. wow. there was the cute guy from junior high. The guy that moved to the school when he was in 8th grade and I was in 7th. What a trip!
So, given the mood I was in at the time, I sent him a message saying it was great to see his name and telling him about the flood of memories. I expected absolutely nothing. He moved before he graduated from high school, and we really weren't friends. It was just a message; just a shared moment of memory.
He wrote back and asked to be friends and then asked why I have no pictures on Facebook?
Like this site, I do not have pictures on Facebook. It is one of my quirks I suppose as "everyone" has pictures on Facebook basicly. This is not the first time I have heard this question. It is, however, the first time I drafted a somewhat creative answer though. And I thought it was funny.
I wrote back:
"Um, no pictures, well, in my line of work, men usually pay to see my pictures!"
Then I wrote a few lines later on the same message -
"Ha!" and told him my actual field and why I really don't have pictures on display.
Like I said, I thought it was a fun response. apparently he didn't agree!
Facebook is a real trip in itself!
